Payments with NFCtron will be available both during the Rock for People festival and at the Sunday birthday concert. What does the Anniversary event mean for visitors, and how can they secure a ticket for it?
Where to buy tickets for Rock for People and the Anniversary Day?
In previous years, NFCtron primarily managed the payment system, and ticket sales were only available online through our app during the festival. However, for the 30th edition, tickets can now be purchased directly through NFCtron.
The basic four-day ticket costs 4,690 CZK. The increasingly popular option among visitors is the Comfy+ option, offering convenient access to the festival grounds, access to free ceramic toilets, and an exclusive afterparty. However, note that these tickets do not include entry to the Sunday with Guns N’ Roses. Tickets for the individual day are available on the Rock for People website or Live Nation CZ.
There is also a special VIP ticket for 17,990 CZK, which includes entry to all five festival days in the Park 360 area. Details about what you get with the VIP ticket can be found in the ticket description.
Tickets can be paid for by bank transfer or with a payment card using Click to Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Which bands can you look forward to?
On Wednesday, June 11th, the main stage at Rock for People will roar with Avenged Sevenfold, and Thursday will wrap-up with Slipknot. Saturday evening at Rock for People will be headlined by Linkin Park, marking the festival's grand finale.
“I never imagined that Rock for People would manage to bring in an artist who is the hottest name of the season in a global context, and that we would be one of the first confirmed festivals. But it happened! We’ve been negotiating with the band’s management since February this year, and in July, we received confirmation of Linkin Park’s show at our festival. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Rock for People!” — says the festival director Michal Thomes. The full lineup is filled with exciting artists and bands, and the festival will also offer a variety of additional activities.
Payments with NFCtron, zone control, and refundable packaging
Since the special edition of Rock for People Hope, the entire festival has been cashless, with fully digitalized receipts. Visitors can track their spending directly in the NFCtron mobile app.
You can conveniently top up your credit online directly with your ticket, and any unused credit can be refunded online in full after the event. If you purchased your ticket outside NFCtron, online top-up will be activated later.
Before this year’s edition, we interviewed the festival director Michal Thomes, who also shared insights into the future of Park 360. We are excited to continue our collaboration and look forward to the 30th edition of Rock for People.
