July 2024 is here and students are starting their holidays. School is over and events are starting to pick up. We are not slowing down at NFCtron and we’re continuing at full pace with festivals and concerts. Pilsner Urquell will once again be alive with music as the Léto v Prazdroji starts - evenings full of concerts. We are also continuing the Mirai Tour, with seven stops in the seventh month of the year.
For the very first time, we will visit the Červený Kláštor in Slovakia for the Pivo in Pieniny event, where beer lovers will be able to take full advantage of the NFCtron system, because for the first time we have launched ticket sales via NFCtron Tickets!
Unique Fajtfest pays for the sixth time with NFCtron

Concert of the season 2024, payments on AC/DC powered by NFCtron
In July, all of Slovakia will be rocking to one of the most influential rock bands in history, whose hits are known by millions of fans all over the world. With over 200 million albums sold, AC/DC will bring not only a massive wave of sound to the Slovak shores but also tremendous energy, which will immerse you in the irreplaceable atmosphere of the rock world.
At NFCtron we are ready for the influx of hundreds of thousands of fans. We are going to Bratislava with a team of more than 300 members, ready for big challenges. Visitors can top-up their credit to pay before the event via NFCtron Tickets or the NFCtron iOS mobile app and be perfectly prepared for the concert before it starts.
Ed Sheeran in Hradec Králové: Almost sold-out!
One of the world’s biggest stars, the British singer Ed Sheeran, returns to the Czech Republic after five years. Tens of thousands of visitors will head to Hradec Králové for his two concerts on July 27 and 28, 2024. At Park 360, just like at Rock for People, you will pay with NFCtron - conveniently, quickly, and most importantly, securely, with an overview of your spending and perfect balance control.
We spoke with Rock for People's Director, Michal Thomes, back in the winter months about how preparations for the concert are going. The production team is facing big challenges, especially in the form of logistics and transporting visitors to the concert, where comfort, but mainly safety is a big priority.
“It's going to be a groundbreaking project, because maybe the same number of visitors as there are residents here will actually come to Hradec, so we're going to try and see if we can actually manage it,” said Michal Thomes.
Crossing the Czech borders
On July 24-27, Hill Vibes Reggae Festival takes place in Telfs, Austria, where our support team already knows it perfectly. Among the July events that will receive NFCtron|Mastercard support this year, besides Vysočina Fest, there is also Brno's Pop Messe and the festival of extraordinary experiences Štěrkovna Open Music. The festival will once again be held at the iconic Hlučín gravel pit and the financial support has helped the organizers to make the festival more beautiful and comfortable, from visual objects to sanitation.
Olympic Festival and Mirai Summer Fest in Příbram will close the last weekend of July.
Preparations for the peak of the season
Towards the end of the month we will be finalizing preparations for one of the other highlights of this season, the Let It Roll festival in Milovice. Honza Příhoda has been in control for the third year now and leaves nothing to chance. At the same time, the event team is already focusing on the 2025 season and fine-tuning new and existing collaborations.
